A collection of original art in antique, vintage and contemporary frames. Some of the pieces are finished with gold and silver metallic paints and pure gold leaf.
I source vintage and antique frames from small businesses around the UK. I leave the dings, dents and marks of a previous life along with old tape, papers and hooks on the backs to keep the history of each piece. I use the original glass, backing boards, hooks and clips where possible. If anything needs replacing, I use our local art shop/framers. Each artwork is mounted on an acid-free board which is mounted on a backing board. Pieces which have a deckled edge are mounted on matching paper with British-made Conservation ATG tape.
